2/3 C.
shortening
5 T. cocoa
2 C. sugar
½ C. milk
1 C. flour
½ t. baking powder
1 t. salt
4 beaten eggs
1 t. vanilla
In saucepan, melt shortening and cocoa together. Add sugar and milk. Bring to a boil. Take off heat and add flour, baking
powder, and salt. Mix well. Add
eggs and vanilla. Stir until
blended. Pour into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
Frosting
1 2/3 C. powdered sugar
½ C butter
1/3 C. cocoa
1/3 C. canned milk
Mix butter and cocoa. Add sugar and milk. Mix well.
