Fall Syrup

1 c sugar
2 T cornstarch
1/4 t cinnamon
1/4 t nutmeg
2 c apple cider
2 T lemon juice
1/4 c unsalted butter

Combine sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmeg in saucepan.  Stir in cider and lemon juice.  Heat and stir constantly until thick - about 1 minute.  Remove from heat and add butter.
