Overnight Maple Brown Sugar Steel Cut Oats



 1-1/2 cups milk 
1-1/2 cups water
1 cup uncooked steel-cut oats
¼ c brown sugar
¼ c maple syrup
3 tablespoons butter, cut into 5-6 pieces
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions
Coat inside of 3-1/2 quart (or larger) slow cooker with cooking spray. Add all ingredients to slow cooker. Stir, cover, and cook on low for approx. 7-8 hours. We like to eat ours topped with chopped walnuts and raisins. Store leftovers in refrigerator.

  1. I made this for breakfast this morning. It was yummy! The best part is waking up to a warm breakfast that requires 0 effort!
